We have a HUGE Adventure to start off 2012
We are off to VICTORIA!
and going through the Snowy Mountains.
4 or 5 days – depending if you’re in a hurry to get home.
Motorcycling Australia in Victoria are organizing a “Celebration of Women Motorcycling’ and are having a gathering in the country town of Yackandanda, near Beechworth.
So I’ve organized for BikieChic Adventures to take a large group down there to meet up with women from Victoria and South Australia.
Accommodation is scarce in Yacka so I’ve booked out the large Motel with the swimming pool.
Because Australia Day is on a Thursday, most will take the Friday off work. We’ll leave on Thursday morning from Sydney and travel to Cooma (I’m doing a deal at the moment with a large motel) and stay the night. Then Friday ride to Adaminaby, Kiandra, stop at Corryong for lunch and then onto Yackandanda arriving mid-afternoon. On Saturday there will be an organized ride around some of the beautiful countryside then a special dinner Saturday night with guest speakers. Sunday morning we’ll head off over the Snowy Mountains again, stay the night TBA then ride back to Sydney on Monday. Some of the group will return to Sydney on Sunday as its only 30 mins south of Albury.
Cost will be approx.. $60 per night x 3 or 4 nights & $25 for the big dinner on Saturday night.
